Central Maryland

Distinguished Young Women of Central Maryland is part of a national scholarship program that promotes and rewards scholarship, leadership and talent in young women.

Cash scholarships are awarded at the local level and millions in college-granted scholarships are available ($1 billion nationally). And local winners will advance to the state program in  where they give away more than  in cash tuition scholarships.

And it’s FREE to participate!

Program Dates

Central Maryland Distinguished Young Women 2020 program was held May 12, 2019 at the Howard County Center for the Arts.

Our representative is Co-Tu Doan, Howard County's Distinguished Young Woman, Class of 2020. Co-Tu competed in the Maryland DYW program on July 27th, winning both the overall scholastic award and the Spirit award. Congratulations Co-Tu! We are so proud of you!
